来年1月下旬に発売予定の「Office 2008 for Mac」の”PowerPoint 2008″に、iPod/touch 用の機能が搭載されるようです。

“PowerPoint 2008 for Mac では、簡単にプレゼンをiPod/iPhone（touch)に移せる。PowerPoint からプレゼンを iPhoto や写真用フォルダに直接、画像としてエクスポートが出来る。あとは通常どおり、iTunesから同期すれば内蔵の”写真”アプリで観たりスライドショーをしたり出来る。簡単でしょ！”
“Google Docs”を使えば、ppt形式のファイルを変換して iPod touch で表示することは現時点でも可能です。難点は”Google Docs”がWebアプリなのでオフラインで使えないことです。
“PowePoint 2008″で、プレゼンを画像として保存しておけばいつでも使えて便利ですね。原文で例として挙げられてますが、”エレベーターピッチ”に備えて、日頃温めているアイデアを持ち歩いている、という使い方も出来ますね。
